Windows XP 이하 버전은 Activesync 를 이용하여 Mobile 장치와 PC간의 동기화를 이루도록 하였다.
하지만 Windows Vista 는 이 Activesync를 지원하지 않는다.
Activesync 대신에 Windows Mobile Device Center(WMDC)라는 드라이버를 제공한다.
이 WMDC 를 통하여 Mobile 장치와의 동기화를 지원한다.
